Installed Walbro 255lph - hesitation?

i have a similar problem with the walbro high pressure pump from the ITR JRSC kit ... happens between 1000 and ~1700 rpm at part throttle. gets more frequent as the level of gas in the tank drops below 1/4 tank. i will probably go back to the stock pump since i am running hondata. pretty damn annoying.

my car kind of hestitates/bogs in low rpm with the walbro. I run a map mod, so I know it isnt tip in.

Also, i experience more hesitation/poorer performance in low fuel situations (1/8 tank or less)

I've installed the walbro 255 fuel pump & now my car hesitates during normal cruise. I gotta gas it in order for it to stop. I'm thinking of putting back the stock fuel pump, it was running fine...Any advice/suggestions?

My setup:
95 GSR
JRSC 6psi
JR map
NGK wires, colder plugs
AEM cai
DC 421 header
Magnaflow cat back exhaust 2.25"
replaced fuel filter, cap, rotor
stock internals, cat, etc...

Im thinking that your fuel pressure is so high that your stock fuel injectors are having a hard time opening and closing at lower RPMs. You may want to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and adjust your pressure down. As far as the problem with a low tank, I can only think that the fuel pickup isnt at the bottom of the tank; You either installed the pickup incorectly or the fuel pump you have isnt the same length as the stock pump. Just some ideas. If you have the standard 6 psi supercharger setup, you dont really need a higher volume pump anyway.
